Where do your samples go?

1. Patients and parents provide saliva samples and complete an interview 2. Samples arrive at Sanger Institute for DNA extraction and quality control. 3. DNA is analysed to look for possible genetic causes of developmental disorder. 4. Results fed back to families by the local clinical genetics service. 5. Results from consenting families deposited in secure databases for further research.
